HGV Class 1 Tramper – Heanor People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Tramper to join our well-established client based in Heanor .

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper , offering excellent rates of pay, regular tramping work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This role is ideal for a reliable Class 1 Tramper Driver seeking Monday to Friday work with consistent nights out.

Shifts • Monday to Friday • 06:00 start times • 4 nights out per week Rates of Pay • £16.15 per hour (Basic) • £25.00 per night out Benefits Your benefits as an HGV Class 1 Tramper will include: • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Training provided • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Tramper , your duties will include (but not be limited to): • Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (no handball required) • Operating and driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are secured correctly • Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations • Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Tramper , you will need: • Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence • Minimum of 24 months' experience driving CE vehicles • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes • Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Good spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and time-keeping • Strong understanding of UK road traffic laws • Effective communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience • Previous tramping experience Training Provided • Driver assessment required prior to starting • One-day paid induction following a successful assessment • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Tramper , apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more. xbpsjku
