Overview
Freight Force Recruitment are working in partnership with an independent and very well-established road haulage company operating a team of highly qualified existing drivers and a fleet of modern vehicles. Our client are experts in pallet distribution, full, part loads, storage and handling. We are seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Night Driver. This role involves trunking work to Lichfield, operating within a well-structured night shift rotation.
Shift Pattern (3-Week Rotation)

Week 1: 17:00 start – usually finish between 01:00–02:00
*
Week 2: 18:00 start – usually finish between 03:00–04:00
*
Week 3: 19:00 start – usually finish between 05:00–07:00
Key Responsibilities
*
Nightly trunking to Lichfield
*
Tipping in 3 separate sheds located on the same estate
*
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all deliveries
*
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
*
Complying with driver hours, WTD regulations, and all transport legislation
*
Maintaining high standards of professionalism when representing the company
Pay & Benefits
*
£850 per week
*
£50 per week tax-free meal allowance
*
Overtime paid at time and a half after 12 hours (primarily during Week 3 shifts)

Opportunity to earn £50,000+ per annum depending on hours worked

CPC training covered in house by employer

28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
Requirements
*
Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
*
Maximum of 3 penalty points on licence (no major endorsements)
*
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*
Good understanding of UK road networks and night operations
*
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
