HGV Class 1 HIAB Driver

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, full-time hours, and the chance to work with a reputable and established company.

Shifts
Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 4:00pm
Friday: 6:30am – 3:30pm

Rates of Pay
£13.94 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane

• Load and unload goods safely using the HIAB

• Deliver materials to various sites in and around Edinburgh

• Ensure all loads are secured correctly and safely

• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain vehicle checks

• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers

Essential Skills

• Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence

• HIAB certification (Lorry Loader)

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

• Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience operating a HIAB vehicle in a delivery or construction environment is advantageous

Training Provided
Any required training will be provided throughout.
