The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tewkesbury area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts

• Class 1 Nights - Trunking
• Class 1 Days - Bulk collecting

Hours

• Class 1 Nights:
  • Mon 16th, Tues 17th, Wed 18th, Thurs 19th, Fri 020th, Mon 23rd (19:30PM start)
  • Monday to Friday (Ongoing work - 15:00PM start - 01:00AM finish)
• Class 1 Days:
  • Wed 18th, Thurs 19th, Fri 20th, Mon 23rd, Tues 24th, Wed 25th (08:00Am start)

Pay Rate

• Days - £15.36 per hour PAYE
• Nights - £15.36 per hour PAYE

The role

• Class 1 Trunking Nights: Performing trunk runs to Coventry or Ryton hub.
• Class 1 Days: Bulk collections from Gloucester/Cheltenham areas.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
