HGV Class 1 Wagon & Drag Driver - RoRo
We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Wagon & Drag Drivers to join our client based in Gravesend. This role involves roll-on roll-off (RoRo) work and offers consistent hours, competitive pay and additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities for HGV Class 1 Driver:
* Operating Class 1 wagon & drag vehicles
* Carrying out roll-on roll-off (RoRo) work safely and efficiently
* Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
* Adhering to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company procedures
* Maintaining a high standard of professionalism when representing the company
Requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Minimum 1 year’s experience driving:
* Wagon & Drag
* Ro Ro (Roll-on Roll-off)
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Good understanding of UK driving regulations
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Pay & Benefits for HGV Class 1 Driver:
* £17 per hour (standard rate)
* £20 per hour overtime (after 50 hours and Saturdays)
* Average 50-hour work week
* Saturday shifts: every other weekend
* Christmas bonus
* Quarterly team meals/social events
* Stable, permanent employment
