HGV Class 1 Driver Role

Location: Peterborough , PE7 3AG

Role: Trunking , Fridge trailers, on going work

Pay Rate: Up to £21.25 Per Hour

Job Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Perm for the Right Candidate

Shifts: Days (STart between 0300 - 0600) & Nights (Start between 1700 - 2100) available

What You'll Be Doing:

CTRG Limited are looking for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support general haulage and fridge work operations in Peterborough.

You'll be trunking chilled and frozen goods using fridge trailers across various shift patterns.

This is a hands-on role that involves handballing, manually unloading goods at delivery points.

You'll need to be comfortable with physical work and committed to delivering excellent service.

Candidates who apply must have a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.

Shifts:

Sun-Thurs

Tues-Sat

Friday-Monday

Weekend Cover

On going work

Start times:

The priority is PM work currently

Start times between 16:00 - 19:00

Shifts around 10-12 hours

Rates:

Days - £17 - £19.07

Nights - £18- £20.17

Saturdays - £18- £20.17

Sundays - £19 - £21.29

What You'll Need:

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence with minimum 12 months experience
• DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph
• Understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive
• Ability to complete vehicle safety checks and report defects
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude
