Class 1 Driver

to join our well-established client based in

Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

Shifts: MONDAY - SUNDAY: START TIMES 01.00 - 10.00 MONDAY - SUNDAY: START TIMES 15.00 - 22.00 ANY 5 OUT OF 7 Benefits As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent Hourly Rates Ongoing Work Weekly Pay Onsite Canteen Training Provided Immediate Starts Employee Well-being Program Rates of Pay Basic: £17.00 per hour Nights £18.00per hour Saturday: £20.00 per hour Sunday : £22.00 per hour Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to: RDC some handball pending on destination (working on curtain-side) Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills As a Class 1 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence Have no experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial Training Driver's Assessment will have to be completed After successful Assessment, there will be a one day paid induction Contact:
