HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Basildon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Class 1: Linehaul (trunking ONLY)

Monday-Friday

18:00pm start

£17.75 per hour rising to £18.25 per hour from 10pm-6am (PAYE) Bulk collections/deliveries Monday-Friday 09:00am start £15.36 per hour PAYE Location: Basildon, SS14

Job Type: Ongoing.

The role:

Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub. Bulk - average of 15- 20 drops/collections, drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck. Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. 6 months minimum experience required No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
