HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights – Tipton, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Tipton, West Midlands to join our well-established client. Are you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below. • Start time: 19:00 • Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift Rates of Pay • £18.00 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing and consistent work • Weekly pay • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently • Work primarily on double decker trailers • Complete deliveries and collections as required • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks • Ensure all loads are safe, secure, and compliant • Adhere to all UK traffic laws and transport regulations • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers • Report any defects or maintenance issues promptly • Assist with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills • Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence • Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • Good level of written and spoken English • Excellent punctuality and time management • Strong understanding of UK road transport regulations • Good communication skills Desirable Experience • Experience operating double decker trailers • Previous commercial driving experience in similar roles Training Provided • Full industry-related training • Ongoing support throughout your employment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more. xehkeey People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.
