DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Stretford, Manchester.Our client is now one of only four major paper and board merchants left in the UK. Their massive emphasison customer service sets out to providea refreshing alternative to their competitors.They sell to customers who value high levelsof stock, service excellence, independenceof ownership and spirit, and upbeat attitudes.Their aim is to provide consistency of performanceand value for money in all they do, with a highly personal touch.This role is a temporary position.Duties:Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficientlyUp to 1 to 5 drops per dayAdhere to all road traffic laws and regulationsExcellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours complianceRequirements:Current CPC LicenceCurrent Digital Tachograph LicenceAn effective team member who works well on their own initiativeDemonstrates an excellent attitude to workSelf-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliableExcellent timekeeping and communication skillsHours:Days - Monday to Friday (6am starts)Remuneration:£16.00 per hourWorking for an agency can be a beneficial way of having a flexible working arrangement, giving you the freedom to enjoy a better work/life balance.
