Due to on-going expansion and a thirst for growth we are looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver for our site based in ST1. With a tech focused approach and core focus of moving freight efficiently throughout the UK & Ireland.

The core role is varied between bulk collections, deliveries, trunking and port runs. The role is Monday to Friday. Any work on the weekends is optional. Start and finish times are based on the network and customer requirements. Typical weekly hours for the team are between 50 and 60.

*This position involves:*

* Completing vehicle checks, and the reporting of defects, as applicable. * Application of load security. * Use of a hand-held signature capture or mobile device and various applications. * Liaison with delivery points and customers in a polite and professional manner. * Working in accordance with Drivers Hours Regulations, the Company’s Operating Procedures and Health & Safety requirements. * Providing input to help us make continuous improvements in weekly meetings

*Pay*

£13.50 p/h Monday to Friday (up to 50 hours)

£14.00 p/h Monday to Friday (after 50 hours)

£19.50 p/h Saturday (minimum of 5 hours pay)

£26.00 p/h Sunday (minimum of 5 hours pay)
