HGV Class 1 ADR Driver

to join our well-established client based in

Irlam, Greater Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work within a supportive and professional environment. The driver will be responsible for driving Class 1 tankers and will be required to do nights out. ADR experience is not required as training will be provided. This is a temp-to-perm role, and the driver will be offered a contract after 12 weeks. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a

Immediate starts Day-to-Day Duties As a HGV Class 1 Driver ADR, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Safely transporting goods to client sites

Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently

Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures

Communicating effectively with the transport office

Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly Essential Skills To be successful as a HGV Class 1 Driver ADR, you will need: A valid UK Category CE licence

A minimum of 18 month's experience driving Category CE vehicles

An in-date ADR licence (training can be provided if required)

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes

A valid UK CPC card and Digi card

Good spoken and written English

Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills

A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Apply:
