Heating & Plumbing Engineer £45,000 - £48,000 per annum A well-established heating and plumbing company, serving both domestic and commercial clients across Lichfield, Tamworth, Burton, Rugeley and the surrounding areas, is looking for a skilled Gas Engineer to join their team. With over 20 years of experience, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work, exceptional customer service, and maintaining full Gas Safe and OFTEC registration, along with certifications from leading boiler manufacturers. We are seeking a reliable, professional engineer to carry out installations, servicing, repairs, safety checks, and diagnostics on boilers, central heating systems, and general plumbing work. The successful candidate will help maintain the companys reputation for efficiency, technical expertise, and customer satisfaction. What we need from you: A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Gas Engineer

Gas Safe registered with valid certification

Proven experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing boilers and heating systems

Strong technical ability and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills, especially when dealing with customers

A strong commitment to health & safety and compliance

Full UK driving licence

Desirable: Experience or qualification in oil heating systems

Experience or qualification in commercial heating systems

Key Responsibilities: Service, repair, and install domestic gas boilers and heating systems

Carry out Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (LGSRs) and other compliance checks

Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions

Leak detection and repair, pipe replacement, and installations

Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and company policies

Provide excellent customer service, keeping clients informed at all stages of the job

Accurately record all work using the companys internal job management system

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum Working Hours: Core hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional out-of-hours or emergency callouts as required. Benefits: Pension scheme
