Wednesday 07:0016:00 & Sunday 07:0015:00 (additional shifts may be available for cover during leave/sickness)

About the Service User

You will support a

young female

with complex medical needs. Care is delivered

1:1 , and responsibilities include escorting her in a taxi to school while carrying essential care equipment. Key clinical requirements include: Tracheostomy tube (essential)

Ventilated via

ASTRAL 150

Cough assist

Oxygen therapy

Hoisting / wheelchair-dependent

PEG feeding

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for an experienced HCA / Carer with a background in paediatric complex care, including: Tracheostomy care (essential)

Suctioning

Non-invasive ventilation (BIPAP / ventilators)

Cough assist and oxygen management

Enteral feeding (PEG)

Hoisting and personal care

Experience working 1:1 with children with complex medical needs

Duties & Responsibilities

Using and managing complex care equipment and procedures safely

Supporting the child outside of the home (e.g., school, medical appointments)

Delivering care in the home and building rapport with the child and family

Following care plans closely and escalating changes or concerns promptly
