You will support on minimising or removing the risk of accidents, work-related illnesses and injuries in the workplace, this is done by conducting a large number of duties to ensure that the workplace maintains high standards of Health & Safety.What can we offer in return?Competitive salary of £45-£50k.Free car parking.Generous Time Off: Benefit from 25 days of annual leave.Enhanced Family Leave: Benefit from enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption pay.Benefits portal: where you access a wide range of exclusive discounts, company benefits, wellbeing resources and much more.Wellbeing Focus: Access our employee wellbeing programme for your overall health and happiness.Referral Rewards: Generous referral bonus when you refer a friend to work with us!Work-Life Balance: Thrive in a fantastic working culture that promotes an excellent work-life balance.Recognition Programs: Celebrate your contributions with our charity 50-50 and long service awards.What you will be doing:Develop and implement Health, Safety and environmental best practices.Work proactively with management to establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment for all members of staff.Establish and maintain standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all elements of HSE remain compliant.Ensure that all HSE policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated to all staff across the Warehouse.Review accident, incidents and near miss, ensuring that all are investigated, and any recommended improvements are implemented.Prepare reports using statistical and other analytical tools for the Health and Safety awareness and improvements.Compile safety data and provide management reports on the safety activities and results accomplished by the warehouse.Carry out regular safety inspections, drills, training and regular Health and Safety meetings.Train staff on relevant Health & Safety procedures to their role and ensure that all employees received the correct training and conduct regular refreshers, manage site’s MHE training resource.Advise staff warehouse members about improvements that should be implemented to reduce risk.Overlook site’s hygiene plan and manage hygiene team.Our Ideal Person:Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or senior H&S advisory role, ideally within a fast‑paced operational environment.Strong knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental legislation.Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels and promote a positive safety culture.Europa Worldwide Group do not accept agency CV submissions unless specifically requested/ engaged with the role by the Internal Talent Team.
