Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor (Construction Logistics)\n\nLocation: Central London\nWorking Hours: 07:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday\nSalary: £40,000 per annum\nLevel: Open to Experienced Professionals or Junior/Trainee (2–3 years’ experience)\n\nCompany Overview:\n\nWe are a leading construction logistics company operating across major developments in Central London. With a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and innovation, we’re looking for a dedicated Health and Safety professional to ensure our projects are delivered to the highest safety standards.\n\nRole Overview:\n\nAs a Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and enforcing compliance across all construction logistics operations.Role would come with a structured development pathway towards a more senior role longer term.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Implement and maintain Health & Safety systems in accordance with CDM regulations and industry best practices.\n\n * \n\n Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits.\n\n * \n\n Produce reports and ensure corrective actions are followed through.\n\n * \n\n Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to logistics teams.\n\n * \n\n Investigate incidents and near-misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with site managers, contractors, and client representatives to maintain high H&S standards.\n\n * \n\n Ensure all documentation (RAMS, COSHH, permits) is current and compliant.\n\n * \n\n For Junior/Trainee applicants: support the H&S Manager and receive hands-on training and mentoring.\n\nRequirements:\n\nEssential:\n\n * \n\n NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate\n\n * \n\n 2–3 years’ experience in construction or construction logistics H&S.\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of UK H&S regulations (particularly CDM 2015).\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\n * \n\n Proficient with reporting tools and Microsoft Office.\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n Experience with logistics-specific safety (traffic management, materials handling, etc.).\n\n * \n\n Membership of IOSH or similar professional body.\n\n * \n\n First Aid at Work qualification.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary package.\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to grow within a well-established and supportive team.\n\n * \n\n Career development for junior/trainee candidates.\n\n * \n\n Central London location with access to prestigious projects.\n\n * \n\n Commitment to workplace safety and employee wellbeing.\n\nTo Apply:\n\nPlease send your CV and a short cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role
