Health & Safety Advisor | Hampshire | £45k–£58k + Vehicle


I'm supporting a leading civil engineering contractor looking for a hands‑on Health & Safety Advisor to join a major infrastructure project in Hampshire. If you thrive in busy, plant‑heavy environments and enjoy being visible on site, this is a great opportunity to step into a high‑impact role.


What you’ll be doing

  • 50/50 split between site engagement and H&S reporting/admin
  • Daily briefings, inspections, audits and coaching on a fast‑moving civils site
  • Working around large plant (40‑ton dumpers, 50‑ton excavators)
  • Using ACC for audits, inspections and incident reporting


What you’ll bring

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
  • TechIOSH/CertIOSH (or working towards)
  • Experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 civils
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, safety‑first mindset

  • Typical HSE hours: 7am briefing to around 5:30pm
