As part of this ambitious new venture, we are searching for an experienced and visionary Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry kitchen. This exciting new opening is the latest addition to BVC Hospitality, which operates a portfolio of innovative, globally recognised food concepts, including NAC, Le NAC Cafe, Crme, and Supernova. With a strong presence in London, Paris, and the Middle East, BVC Hospitality is known for blending creativity with operational excellence, delivering outstanding dining experiences across multiple markets. At 74 Duke, youll help shape a new flagship concept at the highest levelleading a team of talented pastry chefs and bringing a distinctive dessert program to life. POSITION SUMMARY As Head Pastry Chef, you will oversee the entire pastry operation ensuring excellence in execution, and mentoring a high-performing team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage the pastry section with precision, creativity, and authority
Execute an outstanding range of plated desserts
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timing of all pastry items
Manage and mentor the pastry team, fostering professional development and high standards
Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control in line with financial targets
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and wider culinary leadership
Maintain full compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
KEY REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or strong Sous Chef in a high-end, high-paced kitchen
Outstanding knowledge of classic and contemporary pastry techniques
Strong leadership, training, and team-building skills
Calm and focused under pressure, with excellent time management
