Head of Salesforce London, UK (Hybrid) Salesforce Consulting Company iO Associates has partnered with a technology-led organisation specialising in enterprise Salesforce delivery and customer relationship management solutions. We are seeking an experienced Head of Salesforce to lead the strategic direction, governance, and evolution of the Salesforce function across a business-critical engagement. This is a senior leadership role where you will be responsible for shaping the Salesforce vision, driving platform excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and commercially aligned solutions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists to maximise the value of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Agentforce capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall Salesforce strategy, roadmap, and platform direction in line with business objectives. Act as the senior Salesforce leader across the engagement, providing direction to architects, admins, developers, and wider delivery teams. Engage with executive and senior business stakeholders to understand organisational goals and translate them into Salesforce platform priorities. Oversee the design and evolution of scalable Salesforce solutions across data, security, automation, integration, and environment strategy. Champion the adoption and optimisation of Salesforce Agentforce capabilities to enhance customer engagement and operational effectiveness. Establish governance, best practices, and delivery standards to ensure quality, consistency, and long-term platform sustainability. Drive continuous improvement across the Salesforce estate, including release management, UAT oversight, documentation, and platform optimisation. Provide leadership on platform risk, technical decision-making, and strategic investment across Salesforce products and capabilities. Support team development, capability growth, and cross-functional collaboration within the Salesforce function. Stay current with Salesforce releases, market trends, and emerging best practices to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of platform innovation. Requirements: Proven experience in a senior Salesforce leadership role such as Head of Salesforce, Salesforce Practice Lead, Salesforce Director, or similar. Strong background in leading Salesforce teams and driving platform strategy across complex business environments. Experience overseeing Salesforce solution design and delivery across architecture, development, administration, and business change. Hands-on or strategic experience with Salesforce Agentforce and its application within enterprise environments. Deep Salesforce platform knowledge including Security & Sharing, Data Modelling, Governance, Automation, and Integrations. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at both technical and executive level. Demonstrated experience leading Salesforce programmes through planning, delivery, testing, release, and ongoing optimisation. Desirable Skills: Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Administrator, App Builder, or other relevant credentials. Experience building or leading high-performing Salesforce teams within a consulting, enterprise, or transformation environment. Strong understanding of integration architecture, APIs, middleware, and CRM ecosystems. Agile delivery experience and familiarity with common project and delivery tools. Experience balancing strategic leadership with operational oversight in a fast-paced environment.
