As Head of Procurement, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Develop and implement a rolling ten-year procurement strategy to maintain market leadership.
Ensure compliant, efficient, and innovative procurement processes across the organisation.
Oversee delivery of procurement programmes, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.
Collaborate with technical, regional, and commercial teams to optimise procurement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Direct line management of the Procurement Manager and two Procurement Officers.
Streamline and standardise procurement processes.
Maintain expert knowledge of UK public procurement regulations and advise internal/external stakeholders.
Manage end-to-end procurement activities.
Drive continuous improvement through lessons learnt, benchmarking, and training initiatives.
About You
Proven experience in leading procurement teams within the UK Public Sector.
In-depth knowledge of UK public procurement regulations
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to innovate and deliver strategic procurement solutions.
