We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead our manufacturing facility and drive excellence across Production, Supply Chain, Project Management, Logistics, and Warehousing. Develop and deliver operational strategies that enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Oversee end‑to‑end operational processes— from estimating through to onsite delivery—ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Team & Culture
Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing operations team. Support HR with recruitment, development, and performance management across operational departments. Promote a positive, accountable culture and act as a role model for behaviour and performance expectations.
Operational Excellence
Manage resources including personnel, materials, and equipment to optimise output and reduce waste. Establish and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvements and operational discipline. Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
Financial & Stakeholder Management
Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial targets. Collaborate closely with business development, sales, estimating, and finance teams to support seamless workflow and shared objectives. Attend client meetings as a customer‑facing operational expert. Contribute to SLT meetings and produce monthly board‑level departmental reports.
About You Experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing or wider operational functions. At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a similar environment.
Skills
Exceptional leadership and team management capability. Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and operational systems. Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills. Competent in operational and management software tools.
