As a senior leader within Farrow & Ball, the Head of Digital Delivery will drive strategic change across the organisation’s digital and IT landscape. Working in close partnership with Hempel’s Digital Leadership Team, this role will lead the planning and execution of global transformation programmes, with a particular focus on systems and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end programme delivery: from shaping the roadmap and managing complex change initiatives, to ensuring system integrity and optimising business performance. This is a key leadership position that combines technology expertise with change management capability to enable Farrow & Ball’s continued global growth and digital evolution.

What we expect from you as a Head of IT Digital Delivery:

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborating and leading within both the F&B direct teams and wider Hempel teams to ensure the benefits of Group scale, efficiencies, processes, systems and relationships are optimised whilst ensuring solutions are fit F&B business needs. Align vision and set strategy for IT in F&B, trading in over 50 countries; Shape, drive and execute effective long-term IT business strategies and short/medium-term tactics that are regularly reviewed to focus on delivering robust systems in a cost effective manner while giving a competitive advantage and managing risk. Lead the Digital Team in setting and implementing the Digital strategy that helps F&B achieve its Values and five year business plan. Ensure core system security, stability, efficiency and scalability to meet the ongoing demands of the business. Proactively propose, define and manage plans to update and upgrade software across the estate where required to ensure reliability, supportability and a cost-effective solution for the business. Responsible for the overall planning, direction and control of Digital. Identifying, reporting on and delivering Digital business opportunities in core markets. Maintain and leverage existing system capability and develop bespoke systems where appropriate. Overall accountability for supplier management. Matrix management of F&B Digital Operations team for delivery of service standards and projects. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Overall responsibility for budget preparation and control across Digital department. Responsible for negotiation with suppliers for best value and commercial advantage including contract negotiations, annual capex spend and opex management etc To measure through KPI’s, service levels to internal and external customers, while maximising process improvement and cost control but ultimately to deliver best in class service, irrespective of the location or geography. To lead, develop and motivate the Digital team. To engage with stakeholders and complete business analysis to identify required changes to support and lead key projects within the Digital function and as part of the wider business.

Key Attributes:

An experienced leader, with a proven background within a similar position, particularly within the programe management or IT change space Degree or similar within IT Delivery Highly capable of senior stakeholder management, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal Previous budgetary experience - Must have had full responsibility of large IT/ digital budgets in previous positions Experiece of retail IT systems and ERP A hands on, practical mindset A commercial mindset - used to running multiple digital systems and projects simultaneously Able to operate within a matrixed system
