Responsibilities We are looking to appoint a Head of Department who will be the lead explorer of our curriculum. The role involves refining and designing a contemporary curriculum that bridges the gap between the classroom and the real world, empowering the team to deliver lessons that are engaging, challenging, and memorable, including fieldwork opportunities, to instill a love of lifelong learning. Qualifications The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher who has led a department or had relevant post-holder responsibilities and is ready for promotion. They will have a proven track record of understanding and implementing pedagogical best practices to enable excellent student outcomes and be passionate and innovative, capable of creating a supportive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Experience teaching BTEC Public Services, Uniformed Protective Services, or Travel and Tourism is desirable but not essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
