Head of Financial Planning and Analysis

Glasgow – hybrid

Highly competitive salary, depending on experience plus benefits

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be retained by key client Murgitroyd in their search for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis. Murgitroyd is an award-winning, full-service intellectual property firm with a commanding presence across Europe, the Americas and Asia but rooted in it’s home city of Glasgow.

It has been a busy time at Murgitroyd and with the backing of Sovereign Capital and multiple recent acquisitions under their belt, the business is looking to enhance their finance function with a highly experienced Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to support their continued success.

Reporting to the CFO and managing the FP&A Analyst, the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis joins an established finance function and plays a critical role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making through financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. This role partners closely with business leaders to deliver insights that drive performance, improve profitability, and support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Previous Experience

Iconic Resourcing are seeking applications from strong commercially focused Qualified Accountants. Experience in an FP&A position is essential, ideally at Manager level or higher though consideration will be given to candidates who have relevant experience and looking to make a step up. You should have the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights and be able to communicate and present this to others in a professional manner including both internal and external stakeholders.

We are seeking bright, driven individuals with the ability to work autonomously to a very high standard and support the FP&A Analyst.

As the business is PE backed, previous private equity experience is preferred but not a requirement. Similarly professional services experience would be advantageous but not essential.

On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience.
