Head of Finance and Treasurer Base:   Joint Police and Fire Headquarters in Arnold Total salary range: £79,495 to £87,303 plus essential car user allowance
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is committed to creating safer communities.  We are seeking to recruit a forward-thinking Head of Finance and Treasurer to join our Strategic Leadership Team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Fire Officer, and advising members of the Fire Authority, this role plays a pivotal part in supporting the Service to realise our ambition of providing an outstanding public service which not only meets local needs but is responsive to the changing social, political, economic and technological context we operate in.
You will lead and deliver a high-quality, compliant and innovative financial service, ensuring ethical financial management and long-term financial sustainability through financial strategy, performance, governance and assurance. You will ensure a best value focus as the strategic lead for the Service’s procurement function.
