A global investment firm is seeking a Head of Data Management to drive its enterprise data strategy and lead a high-impact team across governance, market data, operations, and architecture. This is a key leadership role at the centre of data, AI, and investment decision-making.

What Youll Lead

Enterprise Data Strategy

Define and execute a firm-wide data strategy aligned to AI, analytics, and regulatory needs
Collaborate closely with data science, investment, and operational teams

Governance & Quality

Build data frameworks, policies, and controls across all domains
Lead initiatives for metadata, lineage, and data quality across security master, holdings, and reference data

Market Data Oversight

Manage relationships with vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, MSCI
Oversee licensing, contract optimisation, and cost control

Operational Excellence

Ensure robust day-to-day data operations including ingestion, reconciliation, exception handling
Build scalable, automated workflows supporting multiple asset classes
Shape a modern, cloud-native data platform (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Databricks)
Partner with engineering to enable real-time and event-driven data flows

Compliance & Risk

Ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory readiness (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)
Serve as a key stakeholder during audits and internal reviews

Leadership

Scale and mentor a cross-functional team across data domains
Champion a data-first culture across the business

What You Bring

10+ years in enterprise data leadership within asset management or investment services
Deep experience with market data feeds, security master, benchmarks, and investment data workflows
Knowledge of modern data platforms and tools (Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, AWS/Azure)
Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives and advanced analytics
Proven ability to influence, educate, and lead across technical and non-technical teams
