I have been engaged by a leading Insurance company who are seeking a senior legal leader to head their Commercial Contracts Team and provide strategic, high-quality legal support across a broad range of commercial matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, commercially minded individual to make a real impact across their UK and international operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Head of Commercial Contracts , you will: Lead and manage the Commercial Contracts Team, including Senior Counsel, Counsel, and Paralegals. Drive strategic efficiency by developing self-service solutions and tools for the business. Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial law matters, including insurance agreements, client service contracts, NDAs, TOBAs, IP, privacy, and employment-related legal support. Oversee contract drafting and negotiation across multiple domains: IT, procurement, marketing, data protection, and more. Support innovation and compliance , including contributions to training, policy development, and legal risk management across the business.
