This reputable Marine and Specialty Insurance Broker, with a rich history, offers strong job security. Backed by significant investment from its parent company, the firm aims to expand extensively over the next few years, transitioning from European, UK, and Australian Third Party binding authorities/in-house binders to multi-line global operations.
This role provides opportunities for progression into more senior positions and new opportunities as you grow with the company. You will have the chance to contribute ideas and work with senior leadership to explore new territories.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: Providing guidance and support to peers regarding Delegated authority business, managing internal and third-party binding authorities, and preparing new and renewal contracts.
Initially focusing on Marine Delegated Authority business, including Marine Hull, Marine War, and Marine Trade, with exposure to wider commercial classes as the broker expands.
Managing the Lloyd's DDM / DCOM system in line with monthly requirements for all Lineslips and binding authorities for London and European operations.
What can you expect from an offer? A base salary between 65k and 75k, depending on experience, with hybrid home working, 25 days holiday (plus birthday), and a 5% pension contribution.
What do you need to offer? Experience in cross-class insurance, preferably as a Binders Technician / Delegated Authority Technician.
A proactive approach to sharing ideas and involvement in business strategies.
Familiarity with Whitespace, PPL, DCOM, and an interest in emerging technologies.
