This 400-year-old pub has had a serious glow-up. New kitchen. Full refit. Open plan pass. Brand new operation. The operator behind one of Manchesters most acclaimed pubs has taken over and has transformed it into a destination gastropub - with serious ambition (Top 50 Gastropubs kinda ambition).
Pub classics with a twist, weekly changing dishes, killer Sunday roasts (up to 400 covers!), and a menu thats 60% comfort, 40% show-stopper. British cuisine at its heart, with creative freedom built in.
Who are you?
You're a creative, grounded, and passionate chef whos ready to step out of the chains and into a kitchen where your ideas matter.
Youll be:
Obsessed with flavour, balance, and modern British food
Confident running a kitchen - leading from the front, not the office
A voice of your own - humble but opinionated
Culture-driven - you believe in running a happy, respectful kitchen
Cool with feedback - you can handle direct comms and give it too
Youll have a fresh kitchen, freedom to help shape the menu with the Exec Chef, and the support of a company that actually invests in people and tools.
