Head Chef Designate – Premium Casual Restaurants

We are recruiting a Head Chef Designates to join our Premium Casual brands, including Bread Street Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill and Pizza East.

Working closely with our current Head Chefs, Senior Culinary and Operations Teams, you will gain full training as Head Chef for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global and be aligned with our standards and expectations.

Ensuring you are fully prepared to step into a role when the opportunity arises as we continue an exciting period of growth for 2026 as well as supporting the existing portfolio.

You will:

• Be fully embedded within one of our Premium Casual Restaurants supporting the Executive Chef/Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen leadership including our menus, brand standards, systems and operational frameworks.
• Deliver exceptional food quality and consistency, ensuring every dish is executed to brand standards
• Gain in-depth understanding of each brand’s menu, specifications and execution standards
• Become fully trained across our kitchen systems, controls, GP management, stock processes and compliance frameworks
• Champion food safety, hygiene, allergen and audit to the highest of standards at all times
• Lead by example on shift, setting the tone for pace, professionalism and pride
• Support the development, training and performance of kitchen teams, embedding our expectations from day one
• Take accountability for kitchen performance when stepping up in the Head Chef’s absence
• Fully immersed in our Head Chef standards, behaviours and responsibilities
• Trained to operate confidently within high-volume quality restaurants & kitchens across our premium casual brands
• Developed to understand the commercial drivers behind successful sites, including labour, GP and forecasting
• Exposed to multi-site ways of working, brand audits and restaurant opening support where applicable
• Supported through structured development to ensure you are Head Chef–ready for future opportunities when they arise

About You

• Currently a Head Chef in a premium and quality driven high volume restaurant environment
• Strong understanding branded operations
• Passionate about consistency, standards and food execution at scale
• A confident people leader who develops teams through clear expectations and training
• Organised, resilient and comfortable in fast-paced kitchens
• Ambitious, with a genuine desire to grow in role within a premium best in class global restaurant business.
