varied, restaurant-style in-house bistro menu . This role goes beyond traditional care catering, combining hospitality standards with warmth, care and personal connection. The Role As Head Chef, you will have full responsibility for the culinary experience within the home, overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu development and service. Key responsibilities include: Leading, motivating and developing a team of kitchen and waiting staff Designing seasonal, well-balanced menus shaped by residents' preferences Delivering a high-quality in-house bistro menu offering variety, choice and a premium dining experience Managing catering budgets, stock control and supplier relationships Working closely with residents to understand tastes, dietary needs and expectations Maintaining exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen compliance Our Food Philosophy The food offering is guided by three core principles that define excellence in luxury care dining: Homemade & Resident-Led Menus are created around residents' preferences, with homemade dishes that feel familiar, comforting and tailored to individual needs — while still offering creativity and variety. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: City & Guilds 706 1/2 or NVQ Level 3
in Catering or Cookery Proven experience in a senior chef role within care, hospitality or a quality-led catering environment Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills A creative, adaptable approach to menu planning Confidence working with dietary requirements and modified diets A warm, positive personality with a genuine passion for food and people Make a Real Difference Through Food In this luxury care environment, food plays a vital role in daily life.
