Growth Manager (DTC & E-commerce)
Location: Mayfair (4 days per week) • Salary: Up to £55,000 • High‑growth D2C food brand • Shopify, Paid Social, Amazon
Want to own growth across a scaling D2C brand – not just a small part of it? I’m working with a high‑growth D2C food brand that’s built strong early traction through standout product, clear positioning and a loyal customer base. They’ve spent the last 12 months testing channels, refining their proposition and understanding what truly drives performance. Now they’re at an inflection point: the foundations are in place, numbers are moving in the right direction, and they’re ready to scale in a deliberate and structured way.
This is where you come in. You’ll work directly with the Head of Growth, stepping into a role that sits right at the heart of the business. You’ll not just be responsible for one channel or one part of the funnel – you’ll be embedded across the entire D2C engine, helping to drive revenue through continuous testing, optimisation and execution.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands‑on – someone who wants to dive into the detail, pull levers, spot opportunities and make improvements on a daily basis, rather than sit on the sidelines building decks.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership across four key growth pillars:
Website & Conversion (Shopify): Manage the site day‑to‑day, identify and implement CRO opportunities across PDPs, checkout, bundles and subscriptions. Own on‑site updates, QA and continuous improvement, working closely with developers on larger projects and launches.
Acquisition (Paid Social Focus): Run and optimise paid acquisition, focusing on paid social. Manage account structure, test and iterate on creative, and continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and scale, with scope to explore new channels over time.
Retention & Lifecycle: Drive improvements across retention levers including subscriptions, bundles and loyalty. Support CRM and lifecycle activity across email and SMS, working closely with the wider team to improve repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value.
Amazon & Marketplaces: Support the growth of the Amazon channel, working alongside an external agency to optimise listings, content and performance; identify opportunities to improve conversion, visibility and overall channel contribution.
In addition, you’ll be responsible for tracking and reporting on core metrics including CAC, ROAS, AOV, conversion rate, retention and LTV, using data to inform decisions and prioritise where to focus.
What we’re looking for
This role suits someone who has already operated within a D2C or e‑commerce environment, ideally within a fast‑moving consumer or food brand. You’ll understand how the different parts of the funnel connect and how small improvements across each stage compound into meaningful growth.
You'll likely bring
Strong hands‑on experience across paid social and performance marketing
A solid understanding of website optimisation and CRO within Shopify (or similar platforms)
Exposure to retention, CRM, and lifecycle marketing
Confidence working with agencies and external partners
A data‑led mindset, with the ability to translate performance into action
A proactive approach – someone who takes ownership and drives things forward
Why this role stands out
This is a genuine opportunity to join a brand at the point where things get exciting. The early‑stage testing is done, the business knows what works, and now it’s about scaling with intent. You’ll have:
Real ownership across multiple growth channels
Direct access to and collaboration with the Head of Growth
The opportunity to make a visible impact on revenue and performance
A fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment where ideas get tested and implemented quickly
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven experience within a D2C or e‑commerce environment, ideally in a fast‑moving consumer or food brand
Strong hands‑on expertise in paid social and performance marketing, with a focus on driving scalable growth
Solid understanding of the full e‑commerce funnel (acquisition → conversion → retention)
Experience managing and optimising Shopify (or similar platforms), including CRO and on‑site performance
Good working knowledge of CRM, lifecycle marketing and retention strategies (email/SMS, subscriptions, loyalty)
Ability to analyse performance data (CAC, ROAS, LTV, AOV, conversion) and turn insights into action
Experience collaborating with and managing agencies and external partners
Strong creative awareness, with an understanding of how creative impacts performance
Highly proactive and hands‑on, comfortable owning execution and driving improvements day‑to‑day
Detail‑oriented with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Experience with Amazon or marketplace channels (Desirable)
Exposure to subscription‑based or repeat purchase models (Desirable)
Familiarity with tools such as Klaviyo or similar CRM platforms (Desirable)
Experience using creative tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, CapCut) (Desirable)
