Group Tax Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a Group Tax Manager to join an established in‑house tax function. Working within a small team of experienced tax professionals, you will support the Group Head of Tax in managing all aspects of the organisation's tax affairs.
The role provides exposure across a broad range of taxes, making it ideal for candidates with wide‑ranging technical expertise and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review annual corporation tax computations, tax returns, and quarterly tax provisions Manage tax reporting under FRS 102, including group and entity‑level tax provisions and financial statement disclosures Support the wider management of the organisation's tax position, including: Loss utilisation Corporate Interest Restriction Transfer pricing R&D claims Capital allowances Country‑by‑Country reporting Pillar 2 compliance Act as a key point of contact for HMRC, including managing enquiries, drafting technical responses, and supporting the annual Business Risk Review Support compliance across indirect and employment taxes Contribute to the ongoing development of tax governance, including SAO, Corporate Criminal Offence obligations, and UK tax strategy requirements
About You
You are a qualified tax or accounting professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA) with strong in‑house tax experience and broad technical knowledge across corporate, indirect, and employment taxes. You thrive in a fast‑paced commercial environment and bring:

Key Skills & Qualifications
