We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join the senior leadership team at a pivotal stage and play a key role in delivering a structured two-year growth and integration strategy. About You You are a commercially driven sales leader with a strong strategic mindset and a passion for winning and growing business. You thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and are comfortable operating at both board level and on the ground.This role suits someone who understands SME culture but can operate effectively within a corporate governance and strategy led business. You will lead the sales function, drive revenue growth, and help shape the future direction of the group. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution
Design and deliver a robust sales strategy aligned to the group’s growth objectives Translate strategic goals into actionable sales plans with clear targets and timelines Lead initiatives to achieve ambitious revenue and margin targets Work closely with operations and finance to develop pricing, service propositions, and commercial strategies that enhance profitability
Market & Opportunity Analysis
Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities Use data and insight to support decision-making and expansion into new sectors or regions Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards Coach and mentor team members to drive continuous improvement
Client & Stakeholder Management
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners Lead major bids, proposals, and commercial negotiations Represent the business at senior-level meetings and industry engagements
Performance Management & Reporting
Track sales performance against targets and forecasts Provide regular, clear reporting to the executive team on pipeline, revenue, and risks
What We’re Looking For
Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles, ideally from a fulfilment, general warehousing and or transport environment. Strong experience winning business within B2B, D2C fulfilment sectors Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and winning new business Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels Highly commercial, analytical, and results-driven Hands‑on leader with a collaborative and pragmatic approach
The Person
Comfortable operating in both corporate environments Naturally curious Well‑connected within the logistics industry, with the ability to attract and convert new business Brings a number of transferable customer relationships Shares the founders’ values and long‑term vision Willing to work office-based Monday to Friday When required prepared to travel UK and Europe

Package
Basic salary: £55,000, Car allowance: £5,000, Commission: £15,000 on achieving a £1.5m target for 2026 Death in Service: 1x salary WFH allowance: 30 days per annum Laptop and mobile phone provided
