Groundworker

We are looking for 2 experienced groundworkers to join a busy road construction project based in norwich. Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card and have proven experience in groundworks and civil engineering works. Experience on a dumper or roller is preferred but not essential.
Requirements
✓Minimum 2 years' experience in groundworks and civil engineering
✓Experience operating dumpers and/or rollers on site (preferred, not essential)
✓Valid CSCS card (blue or gold preferred)
✓CPCS / NPORS card for plant operation (desirable)
✓Experience on large civil or highways contracts (preferred)
✓Own PPE and tools (hard hat, hi-vis, steel toe caps)
✓Reliable and able to start on short notice
Typical duties on a large road building project
—Excavation and bulk earthworks, including dig and trim to formation levels
—Operating dumpers to move and distribute materials around site
—Operating pedestrian or ride-on rollers for compaction of sub-base and capping layers
—Installation of drainage systems including pipes, gullies, manholes and kerb drainage
—Laying and compacting sub-base, Type 1 and road base materials
