Groundworker - Road Formation (Essential) Greenhithe (DA9) £20 per hour (CIS) Start Date: Monday, 13th March

Barker Ross is currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a project in Greenhithe (DA9), starting Monday, 13th March.

This role is specifically focused on road formation, so applicants must have solid, hands-on experience in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out all aspects of road formation and groundwork Preparing subgrades and laying/compacting sub-bases (Type 1, stone layers) Ensuring correct levels, falls, and alignment for road construction Installing associated drainage Kerbing and edging works Using relevant tools and small plant safely and effectively

Requirements:

Valid CSCS card Proven experience in road formation (essential) Ability to work from drawings and follow site specifications Own PPE Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
