Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a long-established manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in Gloucester.

Due to ongoing success, they are seeking a Graduate / Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and assist with the creation of 3D modelling drawings.

Graduate Design Engineer Job Overview

Assisting with 3D CAD modelling of large mechanical assemblies and components
Producing and updating manufacturing and assembly drawings
Supporting the design of bespoke tooling
Assisting with modifications and improvements to existing installed machinery
Working closely with manufacturing to understand build methods, tolerances, and practicality
Gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of industrial machinery, from concept through to manufacture

Graduate Design Engineer Job Requirements

Either recently qualified within Mechanical / Design Engineering or relevant experience
Based in a commutable distance of Gloucester
Experienced with 3D modelling software such as Solidworks or SolidEdge.
Practical mindset and ability to work as part of a team
