Our client, a global leader in threat detection and security screening technologies is keen to hire a Global Service contracts and Programmes Manager to oversee complex, high-value service agreements and major maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) programmes for our customers. This is a strategic role ensuring operational excellence and compliance across multiple regions.
You will be the primary point of contact for key customers, managing long-term service contracts and large-scale service projects. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experience, driving profitability, and ensuring compliance with UK MoD SSRO regulations.
What You'll Doing
As Global Service Contracts and Programmes Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
Manage global service contracts and programmes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed standards Oversee financial performance, demand planning, cost control, and profit improvement Ensure compliance with UK MoD SSRO rules (cost transparency, reporting, allowable costs) Work closely with finance and legal teams to maintain pricing integrity and documentation standards Lead contract renewals, amendments, and negotiations Identify and capture opportunities for incremental business growth Coordinate across global teams and subcontractors to deliver seamless service Conduct regular customer reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Who You Are
To be successful in the role of Global Service Contracts and Programmes Manager, you will have the following skills and experience
Strong experience in contract delivery, programme management, and commercial management Experience with the MOD and/or defence sector would be a big advantage Proven track record managing multi-million-pound service contracts Deep knowledge of SSRO compliance is essential. Candidates without this knowledge cannot be considered Financial and commercial acumen with exceptional analytical skills Ability to lead under pressure and make effective decisions Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills UK Security Clearance eligibility You must be able to travel to our office in Bedfordshire at least three days per month
