Salaried GP positions in a friendly and enthusiastic practice set within a vibrant, multicultural urban area in Watford, WD17. We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking GP to join our established team for 4 to 8 sessions a week. Medical Indemnity Cover will be provided. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Team consists of GPs, Clinical Pharmacist, Physician Associates, Nursing Team Supported by various ARRS Roles and PCN staff such as First Contact Practitioner and Social Prescriber Link Worker Very pleasant working environment in an urban location Approximately 8500 patients & excellent local infrastructure High QOF achievement & EMIS Web, fully computerized and paper-light Regular Clinical Meetings and Protected Learning Modern privately owned premises Active within local ICB, PCN and Federation

Responsibilities In general, the post holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working in Primary Care, such as: Sessional appointments, including 1-2 'Duty GP' / on-call sessions per week, home visits, telephone, face to face and online consultations, admin work that is allocated by the practice. Participate in cross cover arrangements to cover whilst colleagues are on leave. Keep contemporaneous, accurate and legible records of all patient contacts and contribute to electronic data recording and audit as directed by the service. Prescribe, issue prescription and treatments according to agreed protocols and local guidance, within scope of competence. Contribute to evaluation / audit, significant event reporting and clinical standard setting within the service. Develop and encourage positive working relationships with PCN, ICB, local GP Practices, housing, social work, voluntary services, drug and alcohol, mental health, dental, secondary care and other appropriate services. Pursue continuing professional and personal development. Participate in operational and strategic planning for the development of the practice. Maintains GMC registration and license to practice. Ensure inclusion on a local Performers List

Qualifications The job holder may have - MRCGP or equivalent - Must be currently registered on a performers List - Valid registration with the GMC - License to Practice
