Groomfield are recruiting for a General Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team based in Tamworth B79 . This hands-on role involves building crates for a variety of products. This is a great opportunity for someone with a carpentry , woodworking , or general labouring background who is confident using tools and can read a tape measure accurately. Location: Tamworth B79 Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45, Friday 08:00 to 16:00 Rate: £12.21 (increased after 12 weeks based on performance) **Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate** What You'll Be Doing: Assembling wooden crates and boxes to exact measurements Using a range of tools including saws , nail guns , drills etc. Handling and preparing materials safely Heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the day Working independently and as part of a team to meet daily targets What We're Looking For: Experience in carpentry, woodwork, or general labouring
