Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our historical shoreditch establishment, The Light Bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a proven track record in team leadership and operational excellence. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the highest standards of service and food safety are maintained, while also fostering a positive work environment for all staff. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the Bar and restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Supervise and support team members across various departments, including kitchen, bartending, and front-of-house. Implement and uphold food safety standards and regulations to guarantee the health and safety of guests. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and presentation standards. Develop training programmes for staff to enhance their skills in hospitality and customer service. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures. Collaborate with department heads to create effective strategies for improving service delivery and operational efficiency. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
