Venues General Manager

to lead the operations of our two flagship hospitality sites: the

Brewery Taproom

and the

Malt Haus . This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, optimising operational performance, and driving sustained commercial success across both venues. The ideal candidate will be an organised, commercially minded hospitality professional with a passion for craft beer, high standards, and strong team leadership skills. Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership Oversee daily operations at both venues, ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures Maintain excellent cellar management and serve-quality standards Lead stock management, inventory control, and deliveries Ensure full compliance with health & safety and operational policies Team Management Build effective staff rotas using Tanda and maintain accurate payroll-related data Lead, train, and develop venue teams, including new starter onboarding Manage and support kitchen and external operator partnerships Financial & Commercial Performance Monitor revenue, margins, wastage, and pouring metrics via ePOS and inventory systems Maintain staff costs and margin targets in line with agreed benchmarks Prepare budgets and work towards revenue and event growth objectives Manage invoicing and purchase orders through Xero Events & Brand Experience Deliver high-quality on-site and off-site events, including festivals, private hires, and brand activations Collaborate with other businesses within the Ravenswood estate on large-scale events Ensure all activity supports brand visibility, guest engagement, and community values What Success Looks Like
