April 2026. Enemy of Boredom is an alternative provision of contemporary arts education including video games design, music performance and preparing for adulthood life skills courses. Alternative provision in Bracknell, Bristol, Letchworth, Manchester, Reading and Online Nationwide. We are seeking a Primary Tutor, with experience with KS2 Students at our Reading location. This role is teaching students online in their schools whilst the students are in their schools being supported by the schools LSA. The Role: You will: Deliver structured, engaging online sessions to primary-aged pupils within a dedicated EOB space inside their school Work closely with LSAs, SENCOs, and pastoral teams Personalise learning aligned with EHCP outcomes Support focus, emotional regulation, resilience, and attendance Provide clear progress feedback to school partners This is early intervention done properly - preventing escalation and strengthening inclusion You will be offering students opportunities to enable them to have maximum capabilities and confidence through learning - education without boundaries. Skills and abilities that EOB look for: Current teaching qualification or willing to take one on A keen interested in pop culture and passionate about the games industry Can understand young people and their differences when learning to help promote growth Comfortable working in the venue as well as online with student A genuine enjoyment of lesson and workshop planning The ability to report and record data and progress Self-motivated and can contribute ideas for continuous improvement Solid organisation skills and the ability to adapt and be flexible to tasks Duties and responsibilities: Teaching; Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following EOB's plans, curriculum and schemes of work Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge Participate in arrangements for preparing pupils for external tests Benefits: 45 days' holiday (to be taken in line with the school's holiday calendar and subject to you being up to date with planning, marking, assessment requirements and associated admin for your role.)
