A great opportunity to join our Futures Clearing Operations team, working closely alongside our futures desks, other corporate divisions, plus affiliate offices in Sydney, New York, Chicago and Singapore to facilitate a global client base. The London based team are typically involved in top day trade capture and trade lifecycle responsibilities, plus physical deliveries for softs, agricultures, metals, oils, energy, emissions, as well as the monitoring of expiring contracts (cash and physically settled), stock settlements and communication with clients.

What role will you play?
Core responsibilities will include London Metal Exchange (LME) position monitoring, matching, plus dealing with all clearing exceptions and related issues. You will take a lead role in the full lifecycle of physically settled London Metal Exchange (LME) trades, including expiry and focus primarily on LME post expiry processes. This will include working with clients and internal teams to fulfil Macquarie's warrant obligations and receipts, managing and reconciling inventory and processing cancellations and re-warranting material. You will also be involved in change initiatives being driven by regulatory enhancements, continuous process improvements and delivering seamless client onboarding. To thrive in this role, you will have an innovative and strategic thinking mindset, plus ideally have some Clearing experience with European Futures markets, preferably Energy and Commodity products on ICE Europe, Nasdaq commodities and ECC.
What you offer
