As a Future Products Principal Systems Engineer within the newly formed Future Products department, part of Missile Design UK: Emerging Portfolio & Capability function, you will be assigned to support MBDA's Vision 2040 through various roles. Salary & Benefits
Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship; HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks required Additional Benefits: Company bonus up to £2,500, pension contributions up to 14%, paid overtime, flexi leave (up to 15 days), flexible working arrangements, enhanced parental leave, site facilities including subsidised meals and free parking
The Opportunity Support early phase design cycle activities, including system engineering, business development, customer engagement, and technology assessment. Develop skills in system design tools like DOORS and Rhapsody, and support multiple future systems and business areas. What We're Looking For
Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, and systems design analysis tools Good Systems Engineering knowledge and innovative approach to developing concepts Experience with weapons systems and missile design is beneficial Understanding of weapon systems, platforms, and missile sub-systems Ability to navigate early concept development and technology progression Strong negotiation and influence skills Experience in planning and task management
