About the Role

We are seeking a Fully Qualified Electrician to join our growing team, specialising in commercial warehouse electrical installations. This is a hands-on role that will also involve overseeing subcontractors on larger projects. The ideal candidate will play a key part in helping the company qualify as an Approved Electrical Contractor (e.g. NICEIC or NAPIT registered).

Key Responsibilities

Independently carry out small to medium electrical works in warehouses, including:

Lighting installation and replacement

Distribution board (DB) installation and upgrades

Socket installation

Forklift charging point installation

EV (electric vehicle) charger installation

Conduct site surveys and prepare materials/tools as needed

Lead on-site work and ensure full compliance with BS 7671 regulations

Manage and coordinate subcontractors for larger-scale electrical projects

Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery

Support the company in achieving and maintaining Approved Contractor status with relevant regulatory bodies (e.g. NICEIC, NAPIT)

Essential Requirements

Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS (Apply online only) or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing certification

Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience

Strong understanding of UK electrical standards and safety procedures

Full UK driving licence

Self-motivated with ability to work independently or lead small teams

Desirable

Experience in warehouse fit-out projects

Experience with EV charger installation

ECS Gold Card holder

Previous experience with NICEIC/NAPIT certification process
