MBS Chartered Surveyors is expanding its trusted independent surveyor network across North West England, with a primary focus on Greater Manchester and surrounding counties. We are engaging experienced, RICS-regulated surveyors to deliver Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys on a freelance basis. This role is suitable for professionals who can operate independently, produce defensible reports, and maintain high client-facing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake RICS Home Survey Level 2 and Level 3 inspections
\n\t
• Diagnose defects and building pathology across residential property types
\n\t
• Produce clear, accurate, and defensible written reports within agreed turnaround times
\n\t
• Maintain professional conduct during all site inspections
\n\t
• Comply with MBS quality, compliance, and reporting standards
\n

Essential Requirements

\n\t
• MRICS, AssocRICS, or FRICS (advantage)
\n\t
• Minimum 100 completed Level 2 / Level 3 residential surveys
\n\t
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and defect diagnosis
\n\t
• Excellent written communication and report clarity
\n\t
• Ability to cover Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, and nearby areas
\n\t
• UK driving licence required
\n
