The future is bright for On In The Lakes with plans to expand our coverage of the area and introduce new content formats that engage people who live and regularly visit The Lake District.

The Role

We’re on the hunt for sales hungry and self‑motivated freelance account managers based in Cumbria or North Lancashire keen to support the growth of a start‑up media business with big plans for showcasing the area to a wide audience.

You’ll be responsible for driving new business, connecting and developing relationships with clients across Cumbria and North Lancashire in order to put them on the map, tailoring cost‑effective solutions that truly deliver.

This role will work directly with the business directors to help steer the business towards health growth, with opportunities for your role to grow as the business does.

This is a freelance attractive commission‑only opportunity with a view to develop as the business grows.

• Develop relationships with business across North Lancashire & Cumbria
• Drive revenue by meeting the marketing needs of clients across the patch
• Develop packages that meet the objectives of businesses in the region
• Striking initial conversations with potential clients and driving sales

Whilst media sales will be preferable, we’re keen to hear from motivated individuals who may have skills in new business development, sales, those with a passion for media…
