Forward Deployed Engineer - AI Startup

High Growth AI-native platform with Strong VC Backing based in London, are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer.

What you'll be doing:

• Own the full delivery lifecycle — from scoping complex implementations to writing production code and architecting custom solutions
• Work directly alongside enterprise customers as their go-to technical partner, translating ambitious requirements into working software
• Write, debug, and ship production and integration code using Python, JavaScript, and SQL
• Build custom technical solutions tailored to individual client needs
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to design and deliver technical solutions
• Contribute to system architecture and design decisions
• Help build and scale processes across a rapidly expanding UK and global operation

Essential Skills

• 6–8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing software engineering role
• Strong hands-on coding expertise in JavaScript and SQL, with additional proficiency in Python
• Proven experience interacting directly with external customers in a technical capacity
• Track record of building custom technical solutions for clients
• Solid understanding of system design, architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Background in a small to mid-sized technical consulting firm preferred
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field
