We are looking to appoint a passionate, creative, and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our Design & Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated practitioner to inspire students and contribute to the development of an engaging, high-quality curriculum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)

Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theoretical lessons that develop students’ skills, knowledge, and confidence

Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies

Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities, and departmental initiatives

Maintain a safe, well-resourced, and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking someone who:

Has excellent subject knowledge in Food Technology / Food Preparation & Nutrition

Is a skilled classroom practitioner with experience of raising student outcomes

Can inspire creativity, independence, and resilience in students

Is organised, proactive, and works collaboratively within a team

Is committed to high standards of behaviour, health & safety, and safeguarding
